Being in this line of work for almost ten years, there are certain sleep related products that have proven to be very helpful to families, time and time again. Here are a few of our favourites!

By far my favourite feature is that the sides can be pushed down just using your elbow, so you can just reach and for your baby without having to sit up – a huge bonus for C-Section Mamas.

2. Swaddle Transitioning tools and sleep sacks. My Two absolute most recommended products are made by Halo (http://www.halosleep.com/sleepsack/) and The ZipadeeZip (https://zipadeezip.com). Once babies are old enough to start wiggling out of the swaddle, but not yet ready to have more freedom as with a sleep sack, the ZipadeeZip is a brilliant transition. I believe in this product so much that I often do giveaways with its founder, Stephanie on our Facebook group.

The next step, once ready to be completely unsaddled, is the sleep sack. They are made of all different materials for different climates and seasons and I recommend families with babies have a few on hand from age 3 months an up! They also make a newborn swaddle sack (http://www.halosleep.com/sleepsack-swaddle/) which I find safer than tradition swaddle blankets, because they cannot come unraveled. Safe sleep practices mean there should be nothing in a babies bed other than a tight fitted sheet and the baby, so sleep sacks mean that they never have to have loose blankets in there because they are wearing their blanket. And parents never have to worry about having a baby that is too cold or too hot, because they can’t kick off their blankets!

Do you camp or live in a small space? If so, this new to the market product might change your life! It’s the perfect size for a baby up to 18 months to sleep in,  but not so large that it overtakes your living room or RV. We absolutely love the ease with the lay down/pick up with this “playpen”.

By far the softest, most durable swaddling blankets and accompaniments we’ve ever come across. These are worth having in your baby wardrobe anytime! From newborn to toddlers using the issie as a comfort blanket, this is the way to go.
